Sam Jones has a deep love for beer (wine and spirits, too). The love is so deep that she created KansasCityBeer.com in 2014, and became a Certified Beer Server through the Cicerone Program in 2017. She also likes to volunteer and that's why, with the help of her dad, Rob, came up with the idea of VolunCheers KC.

Rob Jones has always enjoyed beer, but it wasn't until his daughter, Sam, started bringing weird flavored ales to family events that his interest was truly piqued. He has volunteered with several organizations and local groups.
